The island council recently organised a special course for cookery professionals on how to prepare one of Tenerife’s most famous resources – potatoes. BMW Motorcycle Day in Tenerife
Can you feel the adrenaline that comes when you dive into those tight, sweeping curves that wind through Tenerife? Over 130 motorcycles joined the annual rally which started with a Saturday morning breakfast at the Tigaiga.

Enrique Talg Wyss: environmental proctection
The Cabildo, Tenerifes main council, has voted to build a leisure park at Risco Miguel, Los Realejos, in permanent memory of one of the founders of successful tourism in the North Don Enrique Talg. Enrique died recently, leaving his children well in charge of his superb hotel, the Tigaiga, in the Taoro Park.
Tigaiga celebrates “Día de la Cruz”
Day of the Holy Cross: when the principal crosses of Tenerife are festooned with flowers and other typical adornments. In addition there are great fireworks in Los Realejos and in all towns with the word “Cruz” performances by traditional dancers and musical groups, exhibitions of flowers and plants, religious celebrations and sports events.

Tenerife News 25th April 2008 A special ceremony took place on April 17 at the Hotel Tigaiga (Parque Taoro) in Puerto de la Cruz, in which the Centre for Tourism Initiative (CIT) honoured various guests for their fidelity.
