9.00 p.m. Gala Show to Elect the International Carnival Queen 2010. Venue: Plaza de Europa. Ticket sales: Plaza de Europa.
Saturday, 13th of February.-
9.00 p.m. Exhibition of “Comparsa” carnival groups, with the participation of the comparsas: “Guarani Kaiowa”, “Son Bahía” and “Carabao Guayana”, from Puerto de la Cruz. Route: Different places of the city.
10.30 p.m. Grand Ball in Plaza del Charco, Calle La Marina and Calle Perdomo.
Sunday, 14th of February.-
11.30 a.m. Shows by Children’s Dance Groups from Puerto de la Cruz. Venue: Plaza de Europa. Free entrance.
12.00 p.m. Children’s Fancy Dress Competition. Venue: Plaza de Europa. Enrolment from 11 a.m. in Plaza de Europa, behind the main carnival stage. Free entrance.
7.30 p.m. Shows by Adult Dance Groups from Puerto de la Cruz. Venue: Plaza de Europa. Free entrance.
8.30 p.m. Adult Fancy Dress Competition. Venue: Plaza de Europa. Enrolment from 7.30 p.m. behind the main carnival stage. Free entrance.
10.00 p.m. Grand Ball in Plaza del Charco, Calle La Marina and Calle Perdomo.
Monday, 15th of February.-
6.30 p.m. Presentation of the Ritual “Matar la Culebra” (Kill the Snake) – a custom from the old traditional Puerto de la Cruz carnival. Route: At different sites throughout the city centre.
8.30 p.m. Exhibition of “Murga” Carnival Groups from Puerto de la Cruz. Venue: Plaza de la Iglesia, Plaza del Charco, San Telmo and Plaza Concejil.
10.30 p.m. Grand Ball in Plaza del Charco, Calle La Marina and Calle Perdomo.
Tuesday, 16th of February.-
1.00 p. m. XXXVIII El Valle Rally for veteran cars. Paddock in Avenida Colon.
10.30 p.m. Grand Ball in Plaza del Charco, Calle La Marina and Calle Perdomo.
Wednesday, 17th of February.-
9.00 p.m. “Entierro de la Sardina” (Funeral for the Sardine). Route: Avda. Colon, Avda. Familia Betancourt y Molina, Calle Valois, Calle Blanco, Calle La Marina and Fishing Wharf. At the end of the funeral procession, there will be a fireworks display and the sardine will be cremated on a funeral pyre.
11.00 p.m. Grand Ball in Plaza del Charco, Calle La Marina and Calle Perdomo.
Friday, 19th of February.-
8.00 p.m. Reception for the Düsseldorf Embassy. Venue: Main Assembly Hall of the Puerto de la Cruz Town Hall.
8.30 p.m. XVI Men’s Marathon in high heels “Mascarita Ponte Tacon”. Enrolment and scrutineering of heels in: Plaza del Charco.
10.00 p.m. XVI Men’s Marathon in high heels “Mascarita Ponte Tacon”. Start. Route: Plaza del Charco, Calle Santo Domingo, Paseo de San Telmo, Calle Santo Domingo, Calle La Marina with the finishing line in Plaza del Charco.
11.30 p.m. Grand Ball in Plaza del Charco, Calle La Marina and Calle Perdomo.

5.00 p.m. Exhibition of Senior Citizen’s Carnival Groups with the participation of the Groups Renacer and Buganvilla, from Puerto de la Cruz dances and afternoon tea. Venue: Plaza del Charco. Free entrance.
