This month several student groups had the opportunity to learn about the hospitality industry firsthand: we were happy to welcome the – scholars from Hotelfachschule Bad Ischl (Austria), – pupils from Centro de Formación Ocupacional “Adjala” Fundación Insert and – undergraduates studying Business Administration in the IES Santa Úrsula.
The visit to Cueva del Viento in ICOD will give you an insight into the role of lava flows in a volcanic eruption, and offers you the chance to see the whimsical forms sculpted by the lava in the bowels of the earth. The Cabildo, Tenerifes main council, has voted to build a leisure park at Risco Miguel, Los Realejos, in permanent memory of one of the founders of successful tourism in the North Don Enrique Talg. Enrique died recently, leaving his children well in charge of his superb hotel, the Tigaiga, in the Taoro Park.
