The World Youth Choir (WYC) will bringing together talented young singers aged 17 – 26 from all over the world in Puerto de la Cruz on July 15th. The choir’s conductors Ragnar Rasmussen and Joseph Vila i Casañas (currently Hotel Tigaiga guests) and repertoire perfectly reflects the cultural diversity of its singers.

In the first week of June, the CIT (Tourist and Iniciatives Centre) is organizing the second edition of PUERTO DE LA CRUZ in bloom! There will be guided tours to gardens and squares, open days for visitors, a painting contest and a floral photography exhibition. This will be livened up with music and street entertainment.

Again the Loro Parque family has a new members. Two otters from the german Landauer Zoo have recently moved to their new home in Tenerife. These small mammals are now part of the large animal family of the Loro Parque and enrich the biodiversity of the park.
