The executive committee of the Convenio de Regeneración del Espacio Turístico has approved the drafting of the Northern coastal path, expected to be undertaken in 2010. It was the idea of the late Enrique Talg, founder of the Hotel Tigaiga in Puerto de la Cruz, as part of a Cabildo landscape initiative.

The Cabildo, Tenerifes main council, has voted to build a leisure park at Risco Miguel, Los Realejos, in permanent memory of one of the founders of successful tourism in the North Don Enrique Talg. Enrique died recently, leaving his children well in charge of his superb hotel, the Tigaiga, in the Taoro Park.
